Rep Power: 107 | IMO ads posted here are not the responsibility of the site. Buyer Beware! This holds true for most everything you can imagine, and you need to take as many precautions as you can think of before purchasing anything from anyone, anytime. Before you send funds, be absolutely sure that the terms of the purchase are agreed upon mutually, and in writing. Buying items without seeing them in person is a major risk, pictures are helpful but not necessarily a true interpretation of what you may actually be buying. Goods confirmed to be sent in good condition may arrive damaged, ensure you and the seller agree on who will be responsible for said damage. If a seller will not ship to you without payment in full, be suspicious. C.O.D. may be the best option. If you don't take some common sense steps to protect your behind, don't whine when everything falls apart. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Neon Beach on 2005-05-22 11:43 ] |

I don't want to be a downer, but purchasing anyting over the internet from out of state, you should expect to get less than you are paying for. Often times, the used equipment for sale is barely worth the parts on it (ie ballasts, relays, lamp holders, end caps, etc). Rule of thumb, if the bed were worth having, it probably wouldn't be for sale. Look for auctions and stores going out of business when you're looking for used equipment. Good luck. -------------------- Help people get what they want and need, and you'll get what you want and need. |
