If you visited his website, Primaltan, you would notice the email to contact the company was jpstork@primaltan (or something like that), but now he took his name off there and I believe it's sales@primaltan. Smart move because I believe if anyone saw that name linked to that business they would know it was a crooked scam!!!! Contact the police.................................. ..................

We HAVE contacted the Baltimore Police Department with all the information pertaining to what happened between us and JP Stork aka Primal Tan. They sent me the website link to the FBI Fraud Unit and we have filed a complaint with them. According to them, anytime funds are wired into an account such as his, and the transaction goes bad, it becomes a federal offense, possibly a felony. He misrepresented the bed he sold us, knowing FULL WELL that it was smashed up and non-working, despite what he says. AND, he somehow also convinced the company that shipped the bed to tell us that it was not in that condition when they shipped it. Bull____!! Why then did the girl at that company talk to us and tell us that the bed was in poor condition and ready for the dumpster??? UNREAL!!

If anyone has been involved with JP Stork or had a transaction with him that did not work out, I recommend you file a complaint with the FBI Fraud Unit. They will check into everything. They have copies of all emails to and from him, invoices and documentation regarding the bed and shipping thereof. They can be contacted at
Internet Fraud Complaint Center.
Also, we have filed with the Maryland State's Attorney's Office. Don't even consider going to the Better Business Bureau or Consumer Affairs offices. These agencies do nothing but take complaints in case anyone wants to know specifics about a company. State's Attorney's Office and FBI Fraud unit has the authority to take items like this to court. We are willing to go to any court to get our money back, and I strongly urge anyone who has had dealings with JP to file their complaints with both agencies. You must have documentation to back it up. Feel free to contact me or my husband if you need any further information.

We'll keep posting and let you know how things are going, but in the meantime, keep away from JP Stork or Primal Tan. You DO NOT want to deal with this con artist. He would probably screw his own mother out of money if he could. And JP, Yes, if you're reading this, We will CONTINUE to bad-mouth you in any possible way until you get our money back to us!!

I had a really horrible experience yesterday with 1 of the above and another company and if I am not compensated for my time and reimbursed I will be telling the whole entire story!!!!! I will give a hint... located in Iowa!!!! They have really fooled me,taken advantage of me, wasted my time and have caused me to delay the opening of my salon !!!! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have most in writing and the rest is stated in recorded conversations, email and all was heard while on three way with my consultant not to mention my father is a lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If u happen 2 be purchasing a bed from Iowa in the next few days BEWARE!!!! I guarantee I will not stop at this site if this is not resolved in a timely manner!!! SELLERS keep your promises and Buyers beware!!!!!!!!!!

Mistakes happen but when doing business if you make one admit it and do whatever you can to make it right!!!! That's the way I have and always will do business!!! I do not sell tanning beds but if I did I would really hate these scammers and companies that cannot keep their word and have no business allowed on this site or to even to be in business period!!!

Please keep posting and let us know what happens. I've also gotten more information regarding JP and have every intention of prosecuting. We are just waiting for our partner to return from Italy. Something has got to be done with people like him who prey on those who are just trying to better their businesses. He has got to be in cahoots with other companies but we have already caught him in several lies and everything....and I do mean EVERYTHING is documented. I promise you we will not stop until he pays us back every dime.

I was actually thinking of buying from this guy, he's been emailing me pretty often about beds. Just one more reason to stick with new beds. I used to think along the lines of cars, "let someone else take a hit on resale value"...however now that I've been in the biz a little while there is no way in **** I'll buy used, unless I personally know the bed inside and out, and look at it before purchasing (and deliver myself).

Well, here's an update: My husband has just about flipped his lid and wrote to JP to let him know that in the event he should EVER encounter him, he will tell him face to face, what he thinks of him as a person (hard to believe this moron is part of the human race. He told him that he will continue letting everyone know, on as many boards as possible NOT to deal with the likes of him. JP wrote him back, stating that he didn't appreciate being treated like that and complained about us being disrepectful. Oh paleeeesse!! He also tried to tell us that he is working on a claim and will refund our money shortly. Like we're supposed to believe this liar???

Bottom line is this: I have been in contact with the Baltimore Police Department where a complaint for fraud has been filed, and this will soon be going to the Baltimore Commissioner's Office. Seems Mr. Stork is on probation on a felony conviction and I have managed to obtain the name of the judge who sentenced him. I have written a letter to this judge explaining how JP Stork has violated his probation by sending faulty, unusable equipment and in some cases, sending NO equipment, but having funds wired to his bank account. The bank has also been notifed about him using an account at their institution for fraud. If anyone reading this has had ANY involvement with JP Stork, please send me a PM or email me at Laney47@aol.com and let me know. I'll be more than happy to give you as much information as you need to help get this guy.
In addition, NUWave LLC, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa was the shipping company of this bed. They were well aware that the bed was not in usable condition when JP purchased it from them. They shipped it anyway. The driver of the trucking company DID make note on the invoice that the bed was not properly packed and protected for shipping, thereby eliminating any claim against them. We tried, but according to the Federal Trucking Commission if an item is not packaged properly, it is not the trucking company's responsibility if the driver makes notation. Therefore NUWave is just as much at fault. Seems they had designated the bed for a dumpster when JP came along and wanted to purchase it. And now we find that NUWave has refunded OUR shipping money to JP, stating he was their customer not us.
This is just a fair warning to anyone looking to purchase used beds: DO NOT PURCHASE A THING FROM JP STORK OR NUWAVE LLC. We are learning the hard way but JP will NOT be beat this time. We intend to get our money back from him or see him in Jail. JP, it's your choice!
