Wow JP, I know you read this post and I know you know who I am. Why are you such a **** doing this to all the customers. Soon you most likely will be in jail doing this to people or someone will just come kick you butt. Sorry for this post but I sick of reading all this you should just go work at Mcdonalds or something.

Isn't it crazy Sarge, that you or I can get "moderated" on a post for saying a curse word or mentioning another tanning chatroom website or even for "humor" that someone doesn't think is funny, but a guy (or a few guys) that CONTINUALLY have these kinds of accusations hounding them can continue to post here unfettered. Wonder if it'll take naming one of these boards in a lawsuit to get them to finally "just say no" to allowing folks like this to post and using the site as their "vehicle" to lure in unsuspecting buyer after buyer...

This is in reply to Ezliving_Jim's post regarding a SPAM message received from extremeliquidators.com.

I have received 4 such emails from this guy in as many months and he is sending his SPAM to an email address that is meant ONLY to receive emails from clients and webusers. This is clearly SPAM because he is visiting various salon and distributor websites 'harvesting' email addresses to send his SPAM to. According to the CAN-SPAM act of 2003, this form of marketing is illegal and can carry severe civil and criminal penalties. Furthermore, his web hosting company valueweb.net clearly states that it will not tolerate SPAM and ANY of its subscribers found to be in violation of the acceptable use policy by spamming will be terminated without notice.
Quote:ValueWeb maintains a "zero tolerance" policy towards spam and network

abuse at any time. The following paragraph briefly explains our

abuse procedure:

If three or more complaints are received regarding a violation of the

user agreement, a warning is sent. This rule does not apply to

complaints regarding trademark/copyright infringement or illegal

activity. If further complaints show proof the a customer violated the

user agreement after the warning was sent, the account is put in "lock

out" status. The account remains locked out until such time that the

customer speaks to an administrator with an explanation of the activity

and verification that the customer understands the policy. At this

time,a customer may be re-enabled and warned that the next violation

will result in the cancellation of the account. Cancellation due to

violation(s) of the user agreement is permanent except in extremely rare

situations.

Please make sure to include full headers when sending complaints (forward

the message directly, do not "bounce" or use "cut and paste")

If you require additional assistance, or have an unresolved complaint,

please indicate so in the subject and/or in the beginning of your message.

Anyone who has been spammed by extremeliquidators.com should directly forward the spam message and send a formal complaint to abuse@valueweb.net

I have sent two already. One for the SPAM pawning some nail painter and another message I received today that totally slammed this forum for this thread.

This guy needs to be SHUT DOWN! Let's show this guy that his SPAM will absolutely NOT be tolerated under any circumstances or for any reason.

Obviously you have too much time on your hands, who gives a crap about a couple emails pertaining to products related to our industry. The way I see it, it's Better than having Viagra and Cialis showing up every couple hours!!! I'm glad I got the nail machine e-mail as it lets me know whats new and whats out there to generate new revenue streams.

Just a thought

I thought I was the only one getting the Cialis & Viagra emails. I might have to fly to Africa too to collect some big wad of money I have inherited from some royalty I know nothing of. Speaking of JP, I use to get calls from him weekly looking for beds he had either already sold & was looking for or some that he "had to move for a lease co." I have been in the industry since 1985 & have seen the scam artist come & go. If you go to Vegas, just watch where you step or wear your waist high waders. This industry has it's share of many scammers looking only for your hard earned money. I know of only one of my customer's that went under & that was because the guy's nephew was stealing from him. The beds we ship are paletized & delivered by a trucking co. with a liftgate. For the skeptical salon owners, we ship COD by our truckline which charges a 3% collection fee. That way, you see what you get first. This has worked well for us. I also provide referrals from 20 years of business relationships. I suggest all buyers do more dudiligence. Chances are, someone knows the co. you are thinking of dealing with so posting here before you buy may be the best idea. The scammers ultimately get their payback, either in this life or the next. Just my .02 worth!

Okay ppls I just read this and didn't even finish reading all the post after i got to the one where JP didn't appreciate his name being ran down on this site. well let me tell mr. JP Stork something. I dont care jp if it is on this site or where but I am still waiting on my money and I will not give up I did try to call you again the other day and i will plaster your name all over every tanning site and have no second thoughts about it. If someone wants to know if what i am telling is the truth or not i've got plenty of info to back me up. Anybody else that has been ripped off by him send me a pm and I will add your name to my list which grows daily it seems like. I'm not sure what the deal is but some dont even want to talk about it but I'm not scared of you JP and one day I will find you and get my money. I guess I need to call back to the courts and find out how your last little session w/ them went. excuse the typo's ppl I sure wasn't worried about the punctuation.

Contact the Baltimore Police Department (dective in fraud) and go from there. The more scams the better the outcome.

tanzies,

Have you ever stopped to think that you are part of the reason spammers thrive on the internet. Everytime you click on a SPAM message like to one extremeliquidators.com sent to you, you are encouraging them to continue. Without suckers like yourself clicking on every SPAM message in your inbox, there wouldn't be any reason for these spammers to continue. Just a thought there spanky

Like I said,

It sucks that the person who was advertised in that situation is sketchy, however industry specific emails is advertising not SPAM. No different than the tanning magazines that show up on my door step or distributors wanting my business for lotion orders. If I had the time to be worked up about SPAM it would be to stop emails that have nothing to do with me or my business. If that is what happend in this scenario to you I'm sure if you simply ask to be removed from their list they will remove you no problem

Cheers!

p.s. Spanky???
