Megasun....Sun Capsule...if so what is your opinion (if any) about them? Also looking for opinions on a company called Lease Process? I.E. Richard or Roberta

There are many threads reporting troubles with Megasun, especially JP Stork - search carefully on this site for more info!!!

I've known several who have dealt with Lease Process and have yet to have a "problem free" conclusion. They are VERY aggressive, but then "hidden fees" and "last minute documents" seem to crop up at the end with costs you weren't expecting....

Debbie Doss at Beneficial Leasing is good, and reputable. **** Kath at Banker's Leasing is among the very best in the industry (but you need to be an established business owner typically).

TaninMi, I've spoke to you before I believe. Suncapsules are a very good and trouble free unit. I do have a customer selling a used SCII 54 lamp. PM me for more info. Also I can talk to you about Lease Process. I work with them quite often. Jeff

TaninMI - see the thread under TanningUnits/Lamps titled "Don't ever deal with...." re. Megasun.

However - I would feel confident dealing with Sarge. Good reputation, quality organization.

Sarge - I'd be curious about your dealings with Lease Process. They were VERY aggressive getting into the business in Nashville in 2003 and seemed great! Then it seemed like it was tough to get straight answers, unexpected fees cropped up, charges were higher than explained,... - and I heard of this from multiple people/multiple dealings. As with every company, different "salespeople" can operate differently. M.B. is one I would avoid...

Normally I would not get into a topic like this but I have to step in for Megasun here.
This problem was with Jp Stork and he got Megasun all inner twined with it.
Jp Stork does not and has not ever worked in house with Megasun.
Alot of differant people buy beds and claim to be dealers for many factory direct manufactures.
Anyone one of you can go straight to the factory with Megasun and order direct and get rock bottom prices. Therfor when someone wanting to sell tanning equipment knows that they will start and attempt to deal for that factory.
Jp is not Megasun and that needs to be cleared up he is his own person working for him self as independant dealer for where ever he can get beds from. Jp Stork used to call his company Megasun East and that made people think he was Megasun as he is representing himself in that manner Megasun got caught up in the middle.
Call Megasun and ask them they will tell you that he does not rep for them or even better call JP and ask for his dealer contract. He does not have one there is no papper showing that JP worked as adealer for Megasun.
I try not to ever gossip about something I am not a 100% sure on but I know this case. I know how all of this works I called the factory and got first hand info from the owner as well as Jp before I decided to make my post.
I have been following what is going on with JP, in order to time him out legitamatly.
He is ultimatly responsible for his actions as he is the owner of his company and he should be and will be in the end ultimatly held accountable for his own actions.

Excellent point Tephony!

I haven't necessarily heard "best beds ever" kind of stories about Megasun BEDS either, but clearly, the biggest "rap" on Megasun has been JP Stork/Primaltan/Megasun East's "association" with them (or people's PERCEPTION of an association!) that has dragged the name down!

Stick with REPUTABLE companies and REPUTABLE dealers - get references, do research and be careful!

Megasun is a reputable company and the owner has been in this industry for 24 years he has made it that long b/c they are a great company that backs up their product.
If you have any questions about Megasun call the factory direct and ask them not a so called "rep". They can be reached toll free at 1-800-229-7432 if you are ever dealing with someone representing the factory call the factory and make sure that this is in fact someone they support and are contracted with.
Listen, I really hate stepping into these types of topics but hate to see someone just getting ripped up on hear say and not fact.
This is the tanning season and peopel like Megasun simply dont have the time to get in here and defend themsleves so I felt it needed to speek up for them.
This Yoco ladie that was complaining on the other thread truly has a legit complaint but it is with Jp Strok and unfourtanate for her it is my understanding that Jp does not have her money and she is trying to get it recoverd. I feel so bad for her and hopefully with a sum of that magnitude, I can only pray that she will get some restituion.

Thats right Sunsally thank you for assisting me in clearing that up. There are a few beds of their that I just love but off course in my market I see the finer points with a variety of manufactures. The rap is coming from Jp Stork and I would hate to sit and watch some individual be able to crush the rep of a man that has held their name in this industry for 24 years. Off course we all know this too will wash out but for now in the season small threads like this can actually due some damage for this year with them.
These ads actually get seen by many and also with the name Megasun in them they will be pulled in a search engine with negative feedback being brought up.

Lease Process is "ok" however from what I've heard, Richard must be a newbie (or he just doesn't know what
he's doing). I've heard about last minute switches, strange fees popping up in the end and payments changing
after being quoted. Unfortunately there really are only 2 or 3 lease companies worth dealing with.
Bankers, Amerifund and hhhmmm, not too sure who 3 would be now that Evans is gone.

Don't know enough about Megasun to comment, good luck
