Rep Power: 0 | I'm going crazy! i have 5 Dr Kern tanning beds-SunSurrounds i'm trying to sell(1998). All in great working order, 8 face tanners, 42 longs bulbs, 4 shoulder bulbs, each have 800-1000 hours on them, bulbs are new. Seriously, how much should i be asking for them? This is a first for me to sell used Dr Kern's. I've seen other beds equivalent to mine and it looks like they go for 5000-8000 dollars? Is this possible for used Dr Kern beds? help! Serious answers only please. |

Rep Power: 25 | These units originally retailed for around 13K. You should atleast get about 8k each for them. The main problem you are going to have is shipping. The units should be fully assembled on a skid and bolted down at the bottom frame of the unit. If you ship these unassembled, you have a great possibility of damage to the unit as it comes in many pieces. If you need help your questions with this unit, just PM me and I would be happy to help you. I know this unit inside and out. jeff |

Rep Power: 0 | I think realistically the prices quoted for 8000 would be obsurd. I am not trying to trash your beds, or anything, but if a bed was sold new for 13000 in 1998, and now is 2005, that puts the bed 7 years old. It will hold about a value of around the 3K range. There are some simliar sunsurround beds on other tanning websites for around the price of 2500. |

Rep Power: 25 | Thats very suprising for a 42 lamp 8 facial unit. Maybe 8K was somewhat high but not very much, I use to distribute these units. This also will depend on the condition and the hours on the unit. I know salon owners charging 10-12 dollars a session to tan in this. Anyway hope you get a decent price for them. |
