We are those people who got those beds and we are very happy with them. They are used beds in good condition - our customers love them. They were delivered and set up and everything worked except 1 face tanner. The reason it did not = loose wire that was fixed in about 10 minutes.

We also got 4 other beds from him - 1 of the acrylics was broken in transport. It is being replaced. With the beds we have purchased from Tanzme we have been able to grow our salon from 5 beds to 15 in 1 year. We wanted to go used and what we got is 7 beds in perfect working order that our customers love. They do not care or even know what year they were made.

So, when buying used from Tanzme in our experience the beds came in the exact condition he promised - we are happy.

Yes, he is very busy and sometimes hard to get a hold of at the exact second you want to talk but he does return phone calls and does resolve problems. Maybe if you are looking to buy beds call and talk to him and order them ahead of time instead of on a Wednesday when you need to have them by Friday.

That was the same thing when we ordered a new Sonnenbraun from our disty. We ordered and it couldn't be delivered until 3 weeks later when we scheduled a time.

most disty. cover 1-4 states with their sales, Mike covers 49 of them with 3 employees, I think he still has a great turnaround time to get you top notch USED equipment!

i agree sport.. for a small company, they do the best they can, I just did a big deal with them, becouse they are backed up the pick up took a little longer than i thought. But there money is good, on time. and they are very easy to get along with, I am always amazed at business people and the ability to not work out differences. mike you and your dad do a good business keeep it up there are alot of people out there who are looking for good beds at a fair price..with all the work you guys put into a bed before its sold i was amazed to see this thread.... dont let the little things drag you down, theres always a solution to a problem. WORK IT OUT

tmmacav I agree with mikel if you do a search you were all over this board looking for used beds. there were many good deals you you simply drug your feet you snooze you loose. I had talk to you once you were looking for something for nothing or you were window shopping with no money. my guess is you have no MONEY.

Mike is legit your not going to be able to please everyone whether some of you on here are selling units or running salons or even large companies. You will always run across someone that cant's be pleased no matter what you do. Before you buy anything from anyone do your homework. If your not doing your homework your at fault.

What every one has to realize is that the beds are USED, which means they might have hours, they might have a scratch, or maybe a dent, but if you have the money then buy NEW!!! we have over 70 used units, and his inventory is top of the line equipment!!! if you want new, give me a call,, if you want almost new call Mike!!!

I bought 2 "re-conditioned" beds from Advanced tanning Systems. They were delivered Friday and are all busted and broken. They look like crap and the Tanses bed has a broken acrylic on the bottom and none on the top. I was supposed to be able to just hook them up and turn them on " they were in great condition". Yeah Right! The Sun Dash stand up that he sold as an Ergoline, is bashed in and the ballasts are falling off... I don't even know how much it is going to take to get these things in working condition, if it is possible. Oh, and Michael Yoder won't answer or return my calls. Funny thing though yesterday when I blocked my number yesterday he answered right away. But then hung up on me when he realized it was me. I will have pictures posted of the crap that he sent me later today!

jen, dont tell the good people of this site that i was traveling yesterday and was in and out of service with my phone.. got home this morning and called you.. my brother did forget to put your new acrylics on your 02' tanses 32 that only had 770 hrs. on it...which i called suncorp today and ordered new ones for you then called you and gave you the order #... second your standup sundash sr-48 only had 352 hrs. on it and not a scratch on it when we shipped it out..the trucking company has already looked at it and admitted that they stacked something on it and that is where the damage was from...come on guys darn i bend over backwards to help everyone on this site and people i sell beds to...we sell about 400 beds a yr. im sure we are gonna have a problem or two along the way but i ALWAYS help fix the problem... im in the business b/c i love tanning and the industry as a whole..IF THE BUSINESS WAS PERFECT YOU GUYS WOULD ALL MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY NEW BEDS FROM ME AND WE WOULD JUST THROW THE OLD ONES AWAY...MOST OF THE PEOPLE JUST BARELY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR WHAT THEY GET AND IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG INSTEAD OF TRYING TO FIX THE PROBLEM OR GIVE SOMEONE ELSE TIME TO FIX IT...YOU JUST GET ON HERE AND START BASHING PEOPLE..IM SORRY I TOOK 4 DAYS OFF LAST WEEK TO SPEND WITH MY FAMILY AND PLAY WITH MY 2 YR. I spoke to Michael this morning. Yes the shipping company did damage the beds during shipping, and I am going to file a claim with them. The parts that were not replaced on the bed during the reconditioning, Michael has told me were a oversight on his part and he is going to take care of it today. He also told me that he did not intentionally hang up on me yesterday, he was going through an area where he had no service. So if all is true, I do apologize for jumping the gun. And I do hope that Michael is a stand up guy. He was always very nice during the negotiations, which was one of the reasons for my frustrations when I received the beds in the condition they were in, and I was unable to get ahold of him for 5 days. Maybe if he were not on vacation when I received the beds, we would have been able to resolve the issue sooner. I do realize people need to take time off for themselves. It was just a horrible time for him to take off (from my perspective anyway....). As far as the unloading of the beds, I discussed with Michael before the beds were shipped that I am a 28 year old woman in a salon with no "man power" and when my other beds were delivered it ws a nightmare. He assured me of a tailgate delivery and the trucking company did not hold up to their agreement with him. I never expected the freight company to install the beds, why would I want a trucking company to install my beds? That would be like having a plumber repair a computer..... I will keep you posted on what happens, and again if this was just a "series of unfortunate events" and an oversight on Michael's part, I do apologize and will let you know how everything turns out.
