I’m thinking about selling my salon. I only been open 8 Months but with a full time job, kids, plus sports and now just started to build my house. I can't put the time I want to I gross about $70,000 in the past 8 Months I have all new equipment 6-20Min beds, 2-10 VHR Beds 2-10 VHR Booths, Helios software did about 1000 sign ups since March 1, 02. I know I will do a lot better this year because they open a Pathmark grocery store next to me in June plus there is a 8000 Sq. Ft. gym next to me and a Hollywood video plus others stores that bring in a lot of business. Can someone please give me input on what to sell it for? Thanks, Mike

Why did you do it if you weren't going to have the time to devote to the business????? Tanning salons are long term commitments not get rich quick schemes. I wouldn't look for anyone who knows the business to want to purchase it until after the first of the year, noone wants to take on a business that is in it's worst months.

Where is the salon located? That would be a major factor in determing price.
