I saw on another board that QDM and Puretan are going to "get it on" in some sort of comparison showdown, but it seems they are trying to come to an agreement on how to judge. Should we judge Tanning equipment by the science or the customers percepition on how the bed works??I post this as a fairly loyal Puretan User and intersted spectator since i need a 3 Elipse or equivilent.

I believe performance and actual meter readings are most important, however there are other factors that need to be looked at.1. Session times, getting a good result in the least amount of time means increased revenue for us the salon owner2. Appearance and bells and whistles, results may keep people coming back but the initial wow effect is what gets em to shell out the big bucks.3. Comfort level, some people like and expect to get hot but a majority I feel want to have a cooler tanning session while still seeing results 4. The final thing that should affect a decision i believe is sales and service as well as durability and availability of replacement parts and tech supportAnyone else have any thoughts?
