Some of the tanning salons in our city are using tanning beds designed for home use.The beds are not designed for the kind of traffic a salon sees, they can not deal with the heat build up of frequent sessions.People are having heat stroke symptoms, profuse sweating, dizziness, fainting, weakness, red red skin color during and right after session. The tanning equipment was not designed to displace heat fast enough, and or the salon is not designed to keep the units and room cool enough and you can suffer heat stroke.Consumer beware your salon maybe using home tannimg equipment not designed for public use.If you are too hot and the tanning session is not comfortable get out of the tanning unit.

Chipppp...... Mr. Mis-information.Home tanning units are by design no hotter or cooler than commercial units. I would be interested to know the names of the salons that are causing all the problems you talk about here. Especially since perhaps I could call them and discuss proper ventilation. However you can't give me any names because you make this stuff up as you go along. Once again I'm not insulting you just insisting for facts and proof

part of the regulations the government has over tanning is how hot the tanning unit becomes with use,If the tanning unit is poorly made and the rooms not cooled right you have a over heating problem that effects the client.Heat stroke can and does occur.
