Was going to send you an e-mail, but you did not feel up to offering that info. I also use the T-Max 3As, but my people do NOT have to touch the unit. Mine are activated by a wired remote switch (optional from the company) or just get yourself a push-button switch and wire it in parallel with the existing 3A switch. All the unit is looking for is a closed contact, it works and the customer like that they don't have to reach around to push the 3A's button like at other places.

Corvette,I'm glad you like the T-Max System. The gray front part of the T-Max 3A is a sticker. It can be simply peeled off and replaced. Give me a call at 417-338-5101.Kevin BarrettADI Tech Support(The T-Max folks)

I deliberately called around for someone who had the new 3-As when I recently changed my one salon over. Very worth it! The buttons have just the right resistance and I don't anticipate any breakthroughs. Got mine from Tan America who seemed much more hip on the subject than the two other distributors I called. Seems a shame to have to bypass the start-stop button. That's what it's for.
