I know a lot of tanning salons out there have some "other" beds besides the standard ones. Maybe its a super-bed or a stand-up or a mystic tan bed. How many people actually ask to be in the "other" beds? And do most of you charge extra for it?solid------------------[url=http://www.control2x.com[/IMG]

We have two 20 minute VHR Super Beds and a 10 minute Perfect Ten SunCapsule. We charge $11 & $7 for the use of these beds. Once people try them, very few go back to our standard beds. We do discount the first session for them to try it out and then we have them hooked.I also like the VHR beds as I have to tan less often.------------------Take A Trip To The Coast...Palm Coast Tann mike@palmcoasttann.com

Hi All, I'm new to Tan Talk... working on opening my own salon in the very near future. I have used both the VHR Turbo and VHR Standup SunCapsule. I like them when I'm in a hurry or have spots that don't tan well in a standard bed. But the salon I patron charges double on a membership for these premium beds. So, I find that I prefer my standard bed, take my 20 minute nap and I'm off. I'm only saving 8 to 10 minutes on the VHR beds. The results are more intense in a shorter time however, I wouldn't say my results are actually doubled compared to the price. These are things I will consider close to opening day. I am not a salon owner, I'm just a tanner :-)I have used the regular beds before, but I don't anymore. I am not a thin person (not obese, just overweight) and I found that I always got stripes down my side, and I got darker spots on my body where they came in contact with the bed. I use the stand up at my local salon. I usually buy time when they have specials. Ususally they charge $1.00/minute, with a max of 11 min per session. I buy the special package at $55.00 for 66 minutes.------------------Lisahttp://www.scorpeo.f2s.com/
