how's the busy season?

How is the busy season coming along for everybody? How many people are you tanning per day? Have extra items been selling like lotions, swimsuits, etc? Sandollar has been selling lotions along with its own brand and we have been selling swimsuits. Ok the story goes like this ......3 years ago we started a new pricing plan.It was after we were broken into and thousands !!!! of dollars of tanning lotion was stolen from us. Not a thing broken or anything else taken not even the computer, or TVs. or stereo.Strange :-) ya right!!!At that same time a tanning salon in our city started to sell tanning sessions at cost if you bought tanning lotion with a min. price of $20.00. Coincidence??????? Or Not :-) Who really knows.Other break ins to local salons took place at the same time. Same M O.So we could not cut prices and and try to match the "DEAL" they were giving.We had average prices till then and were so busy it was a mad house.So we put all our prices up to the highest prices in town.We did less sessions, used less power, less lamp changes, happier staff.When all was said and done profits were the same. With lower expenses and work.The last 2 years we used the same higher prices or higher and profits are still going up.Raising prices is always scary. But it needs to be done. Don't sell your self short.NOW ANYONE HAVE LOTIONS THEY CAN SELL US REAL CHEAP ?????? HA HA HA.
