Corvette:First of all, Heraeus makes several 160 w reflector lamps. They are the 16/160R; 20/160R; and 23/160R. The difference is the amount of UVB. The 16/160R & the VHR are approximately the same; the 20/160R & the new "new VHR-TT" should be about the same (although we haven't tested the VHR-TT yet); and the 23/160R isn't (in my opinion) compatible to the VHR.We use both the VHR and the 20/160R and they are both fine lamps. In a Sun Dazzler, the VHR reaches 4.0 MED in 12 minutes (when new) and the 20/160R in 11 minutes. We do not yet know if the Heraeus lamps will last as long as the Cosmedico. Our 20/160R's are just past 500 hours and so far, so good. The next 300-400 hours will be critical.Hope this helps.Don
