I don't really know what my skin "type" is... I know I'm not fair skinned, so I guess "medium skinned"... I really don't know. I'm starting to think that maybe it's the way I was laying in the beds that has caused this problem. Although I would lay like a contortionist, I still could not get all of me tanned like I have being in the stand up. My chest has gotten a nice color, but my shoulders and inside my arms are still lacking. I can't complain after 3 visits to the stand up. I'll be going back today, too.Yes, the stand ups do take away the "relaxation" of tanning... but I try to do little exercizes while I'm in there to kill the time... KeeblersGirl

you need to try hot chocolate from CalTan and the beds your are lying in are too small. Find something 32 bulb or higher, that will fix your side stripe problem, the stand up will to if you like to stand. Your neck will start to show color within two or three visits with caltan Hot chocolate.

Hi,I have had the same things over the years happen to me. The best advice that I could give you is, your tan is not going to start overnight. The best thing to do is just be patient. IT will even out .... If you have been tanning for more then a month and have you base tan, then you may need to move to a stronger lotion. The best sort that I have found for me is something that has a TINGLE FACTOR.. Yes, it gets hot and the first couple of times it felt unbearable. BUT hang in there it is not so bad after you have used it for awhile. IF that doesn't work, ask the owner of your salon approximately how many hours they have metered on their bulbs. I think you will notice a difference in a high pressured bed. IF not then go and find the bed called the ULTRA BRONZE... IT is the most awesome way to tan and the safest... The last question. HOW often do u tan... daily, weekly or biweekly... those are also factors to consider.... Hope it works out for u... BE SAFE

I would suggest trying a few different types of lotions and if that doesnt work...then politely ask how many hours they have on those set of bulbs...as that could also be the problem...but I would give them the chance to make it right...Have a Great Day!!! Soo
