ETS Inc, and Helios are proud to announce the formation of a partnership to provide the most advanced salon information services and customer support available in the industry. Trevor Gray, President of ETS said, "Helios has long been known for their extensive marketing opportunities for salons and this new organization will allow ETS to provide the necessary support salon owners need so that Tony and his team can continue to generate software advances for salons". Tony Toepfer, President of Helios stated "We feel that the synergies between our two teams is very exciting and will provide us the opportunity to take salon software to new levels, which in turn will allow salons to be more profitable and more creative in how they operate their business." ETS and Helios are finalizing this partnership and will be providing further information about the official kick off in the next few weeks. They are confident that the combined efforts of ETS and Helios will support the needs of salon owners better than either company can do alone and will provide the best business management and customer marketing software for salon owners and operators. At this time, ETS will continue to support its current Salon Explorer customers while the new company makes plans for the future.Tony ToepferHelios User & President[This message has been edited by Tony Toepfer (edited 05-14-2001).][This message has been edited by Tony Toepfer (edited 05-14-2001).]

I've had it for years and aside from the bugs in 8 it's been stable. What kind of PC do you run it on?I put 9 on 3 PC's last July and haven't had to call tech support once.Actually, software can't turn yellow but that is a funny analogy.

I agree with Rich! We have used Helios for a long time and version 9 is an excellent POS product.I have more understanding of the software business. It's tough! We have a software product that works in conjunction with Helios to connect multiple locations. This product will be ready in a few weeks. We planned on being ready at the first of this year but that did not happen. Developing software of this scale is very difficult and expensive.I'm sure by being in the software business I will make some people upset. It's not our goal or wishes at all but I think it's the nature of developing software. Thanks Tony for all the hard work you have done to get this industry where it's at.Michael
