Anyone good with formulas?

I know it might not be that hard, maybe I am thinkning to hard, but does anyone have a formula to determine the cost of lamps per minute used. I want to know how much lamps cost me per minute or session used.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Ok, let's see, if you want price per lamp in cents.

cpm = (ppl*100)/(hrs*60),

where

cpm = lamp replacement cost per minute
ppl = price per lamp
hrs = hours used

If you want to know the total bed lamp cost per minute, multiply the lamp cpm by the number of lamps in a bed.

Re: Anyone good with formulas?

BTW, if you want to calculate lamp cost per session, multiply the bed cost per minute by number of minutes of a session.

For example, a $10.00 lamp that lasts 700 hours in a 32 lamp bed will have a single lamp cost per minute of about 0.024 cents per minute per lamp, or .76 cents per minute for the whole bed. A 20 minute session will cost about 15 cents in lamp costs.

Re: Anyone good with formulas?

Try this math....

32 x $10 = $320 per change
$320 / 700hrs = $0.46 per hour
$0.46 / 60min = $0.008 per min

or a 20min session costs $0.16

The bottom line is change your lamps.....they really do not cost that much!
