I couldn't get the video to play - why are they suspicious that this may be a "hate crime"? ~I hate Pure Tan beds, too! Let me know if I'm a suspect~ I do feel badly for the salon owner, though. It was probably some whacko "majority rules" gang out there taking the constitution into their own hands (conveniently overlooking the "personal property" article, I might add, and only focusing on their "right to assemble"! hehe)! And some say negative press has no effect on our business! ~pishaw~

The owner is engaged to marry someone of another race. They painted racial slurs on the walls.

****..... I always worried about someone doing this to me. Like an ex gf, or disgruntled customer or competition. I have a a great alarm system though. Its worth the $300 setup, and $24 per month to have it hooked up. Its a shame that people do this crap, but we should always prepare for the worst and just hope for the best. My alarm is not only hooked up to the local police, but it also alarms my cell phone. I live about 3 min from my salon..... God if someone EVER tried somthing like that..... I would show up BEFORE the cops and fit the burglerer with some nice cement shoes.....

We had a salon in town go through the same thing.

But they did it themselves is WIDELY believed. It happened at the end of last busy season, about now last year. They kept saying they would re-open. As soon as insurance stopped paying "daily business losses" they closed both locations right up, at night, without notice.

Maybe someone should devise a plan to be open 24/7 that way things like this could happen all the time day and night
