...as for the 43 million (which I'm sure is inflated, because these days everyone has a handicap) they are all yours.

I'm not one to glorify the handicapped, nor reward their need.

To establish legislation based on their need is appalling. I think Bush Senior's ADA legislation was among the most egregious things he did in office.

I too was against all the ADA crap, when I had to move the wall to the bathroom in a laundry I built, even though I had the concrete dug up for the toilet they did not make a fitting that moved the toilet the required amount away from an old location. So I move the wall over to comply, I could hit 12 or 24 but not 18 inches, But the code says 18, so STFU and move the wall.

But I have seen many customers come in who are wheel chair bound, if this really makes it easier (doubt it) then I am OK with it. I wish common sense could apply, enforce the spirit of the law not the letter of the law.
