Why can't customers read? Please Help!

I just found a customer using antibacterial wipes (like you would use on your kitchen sink) to clean her tanning bed! I'm a newbie so can someone please tell me if this is going to damage my acrylics? Is there something I should do right now to fix it?

Why customers cannot read signs - I will never understand!

The clients do. I have a very small salon in Pennsylvania.
The customer showed me what she wiped the bed with on her way out.

Wisconsin law says the salon owner must sanitize the beds. Some do, some don't. The fitness centers are great violators of the law.

Why would you let the customer clean their own bed? If you are a very small salon, it should be easy to clean all the beds!

You can't expect a client to clean their own bed and complain about how they do it - in this market, you should just be happy you have clients! Unless I was paying them to tan, I would NEVER even think of letting a client clean their own bed and even then - there are regulations regarding how to sanitize a bed, how could you ever know if a client was meeting those standards? Ew. I'm grossed out. I think antibacterial wipes are the least of your worries.
