Why are you replacing the starters? These devices have no moving parts and unless they fail there is not much reason to replace. I have several beds with 2500 hours plus on the original starters. PatParadise, )IMWW)

Starters fail. Why? Dunno. Guess they just BTFO. I've heard tell that the electric starters last longer than the others, dunno nothin' 'bout that either. What I do know is that I loves me some french fried taters, mmmhmmm. My advice is to only replace your starters as needed, and with the least expensive option available, ie the "other" ones. Good luck.

About a 1 1/2 years ago I changed the vhr 8 min booths to electric starters. I didnt change the 10 minute booths
No emergency however the electric starters are holding the life of the lamps LONGER so I'm trying to find a company to purchase them at a reasonable cost...I hate to spend that kind of money but I know now that they save and keep lamps longer So far the cost is $3.10 per starter! Thanks |
