Re: tantalk versus tantoday
I would like to have a discussion with Hard-Living Jim and Meter-Geek Steve about the abysmal performance of "their boy" President Bush. FYI, these two were the two biggest supporters of GWB (and Cheney) a few years ago.
Perhaps one (or both) of you would like to comment on his latest approval (ha ha) rating numbers. |

Re: tantalk versus tantoday
I hate assertions without context. Bush's approval numbers are low because everything's FUBAR - the democratically controlled congress' numbers are low because they haven't done any of the things they promised to do during their campaigning. They're all pathetic, parasytical human beings. Before you go crazy, there are those in politics, and even fewer in office, that want to do the right thing, to do good for the people this country, but these meager few are vastly outnumbered - not just by their colleagues, but by the people in this world that truly run "things" and get them into office in the first place. You know, if all of us "outs", who vastly outnumber the "ins", could get together in the middle, we could do great things, and make this country truly "great" again. Instead, we stock the pond with red herrings, we hedge, we divert the debate by saying, "Look at how ****ed up you guys are by supporting those guys ... blah blah blah.".
Real people know the difference between right and wrong, and when someone is "genuine", and when they're not. Bush is the biggest "puppet" president this country has ever had in office. Anyone that thinks he is solely responsible for this "master plan" that has been the last eight years of our lives is naiive. The guy can barely put a coherent sentence together when not reading from a prepared speech; come on. And I believe that is the exact reason "they" put him out there in the first place. A likable enough guy in person (or so I suspect - never met the man), but a complete dunce - my kinda puppet; totally electable, and controllable. (I think the DNC threw John Kerry to the wolves in the last election for the same reasons). Bottom line, we are NOT better off now under his leadership than we were before - me thinks we are worse off. The Democrats are no better! They've spent the last eight years crying and whining about Gore not getting elected (who knows if we would have been better off anyway?), and personally slamming Bush and the right instead of WORKING to do the right thing. Let's face it, the only thing that sets these apes apart from the others is that they don't like them. hehe They're no better than kids! One kid will bring home bad grades, and the other one has the gall to talk about their siblings' grades when theirs are no better! It's ludicrous! But it's our system, like it or not. That is until those of us grown ups at the lower echelons of this great nation finally take a stand and tell these prima donnas, power brokers, and elitists that we are fed the **** up with their nonsense. Nonsense like trillions of wasted dollars on defense and "foreign aid" (I'll expound on that, should anybody ask) ineffective foreign policy (you know, tough guys don't have to act, or tell others that they're tough; and "noble" was a way of acting before it became a "title"), etc, etc, etc. But we're all good Americans. We roll the dice every time we go to the polls. And frankly, I've been more than a little disappointed since my first general election (I voted for Ronald Reagan, and all of the other republicans). I know what Michelle Obama meant when she talked about actually being proud of this country for the first time in her adult life. I'm sure that many of you that have read this far do as well. I don't know that her husband will be able to get anything done should he get elected, but I believe that he wants to. Today, this election isn't about Democrats or Republicans (some of us are, some of aren't), it's about AMERICANS (WHICH ALL OF US ARE!)! Let's stop casting stones at each other, and start instead hurling them at the people we have put our faith futures in that have screwed us. It's up to us; not a "party".

Re: tantalk versus tantoday
Since I am in Washington, DC today, the following questions (for Hard-Living Jim and Meter-Geek Steve) seem appropriate.
1. Are we better or worse off today than when GWB took office? 2. Would things be better today if Al Gore had been "given" the election (like GWB was)? [Note: If you watched the program "Recount" you know that AG really won the election.] 3. Would you agree that the "good old days" of Clinton the First look pretty good right about now? I know that it will hurt for you two to "reflect" upon the error of your ways in supporting GWB/Cheney (not once but twice) but give it a try. My "mantra" for the day. Don't blame me, I voted for Gore and Kerry! |

Re: tantalk versus tantoday
GWB as president opened the floodgates for the stupid people to take over and they have.
Everything that we deal with on a regular basis has gone down the toilet because the mentally incapable have taken control. It's now ok to not know and ABSOLUTE TRUTH is anyone's best guess as long as it rhymes or makes some cool sound clip for daytime TV brainwashing. Yes, all of this existed before retard in charge but not to this degree. WE ARE RUNNING FROM THE SUN AND THE PEOPLE BUY THIS WITH NO PROBLEMS. HELLO. The music industry is filled with karaoke singers that make money flashing their junk for camera crews that they tip off before hand. American Idol is case and point. The biggest TV show ever promoting meritocracy as "IDOL STATUS" like they are Superman or even an Army foot soldier which they aren't. They are products of doing nothing and they receive a MILLION dollars for being a do nothing....or at least that's what people are absorbing. These people are just like my average do nothing *** and they get a million dollars so that must mean I'm worth a million dollars. How's the value of a dollar doing these days? Imagine that, a broke *** LESS THAN WELFARE douche bag has the nerve to think that a million dollars is what they DESERVE to be for wasting the earth's resources. But the president can make up reality as he goes and not be healed accountable for ANYTHING he screws up which is EVERYTHING. To say GW hasn't screwed up EVERYTHING means you have not a clue as to just how bad something can be screwed up. For instance, if you are driving to Florida and take the highway NORTH instead of SOUTH, well, EVERY SINGLE DIRECTION YOU DECIDE TO TURN FROM THERE ON OUT IS COMPLETELY INCORRECT. Except going back to your original mistake and changing that direction. But the screaming ignorant happen to be crybabies that refuse to own up to their mistakes and would rather ride out the F up with outlandish justifications that, when you are stuck with said brain dead creep for 8 years) turns into some pretty outlandish justifications after so many have piled on. We get bombed by Saudis and now we have BS'd our way to IRAN. What about Osama again? Anyone still on this bus needs to buy a toupee with some brains in it cause you are a screaming maniac loony nut case. Or just bs'n.
