Re: Sharing of Packages
What about the idea of charging a fee to allow sharing. Since we have not ever charged anything, I was thinking of starting out low and charge $1 for each person added to the account. What do you thinki of this idea?

Re: Sharing of Packages
why would u want them to share? If you sell one package at 70.00 for ten sessions, and two people share that package, would you not make more money selling two 5 session packages at 40.00 each? Think about it.... I guess everyone has good answers to this question, jmo.

Re: Sharing of Packages
Shantilly, that's exactly what I was thinking. In my base bed I have 10 tans for $40 and 5 tans for $25. If 2 people share the package of ten instead of each of them buying thier own package of 5 then I am shorting myself $10. It all adds up after a while of doing that. I can see others points on why they do it but math wise i just don't get it.

Re: Sharing of Packages
Mentally and math don't match here. We have a family where the father (a Dr.) comes in and buys 10 tans at a time. He comes in about once a week. His daughters come in a few times a week. His wife opts to buy a higher monthly package with upgrades to the matrix. They always buy the best lotions. They spend approximately $300 a month. This is because we give them family benefits which do add up. :)

Re: Sharing of Packages
I have a gal that purchases $100 of tanning and shares them with her sisters and daughter - when all four of them come thru, they blow thru this in 10-12 sessions - she usually hands me $100 every 10 days or so - and she buys DS Black and they share that so that is another $100, so when I do the math - 3-4 packages a month and two bottles of lotion - easy $400-600 a month on this one family. Better than each of them buying a monthly package one buying a packet here and there and the others sharing a bottle....you see where I'm getting at.

Re: Sharing of Packages
Illegal to share packages here in Texas -- each client must have their own record.

Re: Sharing of Packages
as navigatan stated previously:
"Easy. In Helios, each person gets their own account, then I created "pull" and "add" codes for visits. When someone comes in and they are sharing a package, we just pull whatever visit out of 1 account, and add to the other." We make the client decide who gets how many tans on each account but they are tracked individually.
