Does anyone use tanning in the winter to control psoriasis?
I have never found a "cure" the only thing that works for me is a strong coal tar shampoo for my scalp and i also use it as a body wash. They stopped making pentrax which is a 5% and all the rest are 1% or 0.5%. About a year ago, i found a place online to get a true 4% coaltar shampoo at http://www.pharmacydirect.com/pentra...s_shampoo.html and its at a resonable price. I have had psoriasis for over 20 years and besides sun and swimming in salt water, the coal tar is the only thing that helps. Plus i have been taking a vitamin from this site called heliocare. All in all, it seems to work well |

Re: psoriasis tanning and health
I'd start using the tanning booth (stand up) 2 times a week until it clears up and then once a week - 10days to keep it away. The coal tar works but you can lose friends with that stuff. Been there done that. Try Nizoral in place of the coal tar stuff as it smells good and works faster I've found.
