I wanted to start a thread where you can post about some technology in your business or personal life that you cannot live without. If it's really good then it does not have to be considered a technology. I will begin with a few things I can't live without. Join in.

TIVO

I would have to say that TIVO is one of the technologies that I would not want to live without. I have three in my house and I pay the subscription for one of my employees.

IPHONE

Of all the phones that I have owned the iPhone is by far the best I have ever had ( Blackberry comes in second ). It makes texting and emailing a breeze. The internet browser is also nice.

By the way...... I use it with T-Mobile and NOT AT&T

CENTURY SAFE PAPERWORK ARRANGERS




I have used these for years. One of the best tools that I use to keep me organized. I could not live without them. I use them to keep all of my paperwork seperated. Everyone in my corporate office uses these now also. They are about a buck a piece but worth it.

Totally agree with the Tivo, I've had one since they first came out (think 1999 or 2000). Worth every penny!

The only other thing really is my laptop. I can do pretty much anything with it, and I would hate to ever lose it.

Depends on if you mean new technology or tech in general. I kinda like having a car so I don't need to drive anywhere.

In terms of new technology, I love the internet. It is so nice to be able to find information or answers on any subject whenever you want, I could not imagine not having it. It also allows me to save sooooo much time for work with accessing data via ip connections.

I'd also have to mention my laptop too, I bring it everywhere just in case. So nice to have portable technology that basically has my life on it which I can always have access to, although at the moment it is driving me crazy since I am missing the R key thanks to my daughter!

On an entertainment side, I sure do love my son's Xbox 360!

I agree with Tivo and Iphone. I'd be lost without either of those.

Cell phone and computer...I remember running my salons without them. Client cards and all the arranging them and keeping track of client packages by hand!

Cell phone is not on my list, while it is great for emergencies and I do have one..... I HATE them. I feel that people need to get away, and most people are too connected anymore. I love leaving my phone at home and not worrying about someone trying to call. People now expect you to be available 24/7 because of this. I need to start telling people my cell phone is broke and can only make outbound calls.....then I would love it.
