take vitamin d before tanning?
I have a client that started tanning last year to avoid buring prior to holidays, we had to start her very slow. 6 minutes, 6,6,6, 7,7,7 , 8,8,8 etc. till she developed her base.
She came back in this year for the same regiman, but has since been seeing a naturopath doctor who told her to orally take 500 I.U. of vitamin d, prior to tanning indoors to avoid burning, she has been doing this and was able to start this year at 12 minutes, with no burning. I have never heard of this before, I am going to make an appointment with the naturopath and see what the basis of his information is. |
