A tanning salon based in the Kenyan capital Nairobi has gone out of business after receiving not one paying customer in its three months of business.

Alf Knob, an ex-pat from Liverpool said "I don't get it. My mate has tanning salons all over Merseyside. He makes a bomb. I moved here 5 years ago and I was looking for a business idea. I really thought I was on to a winner. So I packed in my job and invested everything. I'm gutted."

Unfortunately for Alf, Kenyans seemed to have shunned his venture despite his promotional discounts and offers. "I am devastated said Alf. I spent all my money on these machines. They are good too, will tan you all over in less than 5 minutes."

Alf's wife Mary is also perplexed by their lack of success "Bloody African's don't know a good thing when they see it. Now they'll all be flying to Spain for beach holidays while they could have stayed at home and got a golden tan" said the fat trollop shaking her fat head in disgust.
