May I presume the following: 1) you dont' know Dan?, 2) never had the common courtesy or nerve to write or call him to find out for yourself? and 3) concluded with that great "buckeye" mind of yours that "all" politicians basically ""s3ck!"????????

When can we buy your plane ticket to "any other country", sounds like you kind of lost it for the good old USA?............ and what it stands for!

By the way, I actually know Eileen, Doug and the Family - the $50 plus the use of their name - which is most important), will not break them or their family.............. Both are also good people. Actually know them both, great couple, great kids, great staff, great salon!

Jim - I know you love Republicans, I generally do too, but quite frankly, if Dan were running on the "independent" party only, he is still a worthy candidate. I also accept that many Democrats do the very best that they can. i.e. I think Thomas Jefferson founded the party, Abe Lincoln, both Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt were Democrats as well as Harry Truman, the Kennedy's (all of them), Lyndon Johnson and Joe Biden (weird but good I think), Harold Ford Jr. to name a few.

I donated to Dan`s campaign. He is a good man. If he does not get anything done it will not be because he didn`t try. As far as Max brain cells.......He has more brain cells in his little finger than you will every have. A good debate is good when you are not dealing with idiots.

I've been around long enough to know what politicians and politics are about.You may be able to convince some of the ignorant here,but your persistence in gaining support for Dan would lead me to believe you have an agenda of your own.

I do not beileve in contributing to any political party.Elections are not auctions,money should not equal power.

I have worked to hard for my money to **** it away on a pipe dream.The money wasted on political campaigns is ridiculous and for what,to elect someone who never fufills the promises they make.But you can't blame them right?They tried their best right?We can be led to believe other forces were working against them.

I refuse to financially support a "spokesman" for the industry.If things are that bad in the industry that we need someone to defend it,then its time to get out before you actually die.Im a business man and as long as business is good,im good.As soon as the industry appears its taking a turn for the worst,im out.

We will see what Dan Hummiston and the ITA is doing for Ohio H.B 230
,but im not waiting around either,I have made the necessary investments to secure my future as this bill could cripple the industry in Ohio.

You can get better odds betting at a racetrack than betting on a politician to save you or your business.

Easy there, Trigger! hehe He was just echoing some of the same things I said earlier; just a little more bluntly than I had the stomach for. Kudos to him, I say! Yeah, having a "friend" in congress is a "good thing". Funding a stranger's campaign without any real promise of return is just "charity for charity's sake! hehe Still, to me, it's like buying a lottery ticket. There is a real chance that your dollar(s) will be put to good work with a potentially big personal payoff for you in the end. ~Call me cheap, I still haven't donated~
