We are thinking of buying an existing salon (was closed for 5 months will be reopening). The beds I believe are soltron (race, hot pepper, champ and touchdown) and I'm not hearing great things on here. Also, I was told that the beds are sportareddo but when I go on the site I can't find anything that resembles these beds. What is wrong with Soltron?? The software is sunlync and I have not heard much about it?
Do you know how to get manuals for the beds?? Plus someone please tell me u luv the tanning business and mean it. |

soltron is a good product IMO. We have them and other than a few minor things, we have had no problems for almost 2 years. Our acrylics have not cracked or spider cracked, tans very well, low electric costs, super look, and customers love them. you will pay more for them, but they are worth it. i would try to buy 1-2 years used if possible, if you buy additional beds. |

Retardation or too many pulls off a crack pipe. Don't buy $hit without getting some advice from people who DON'T want your credit card number.

Re: soltron beds
That sounds like the SunSations line-up? You dont happen to be buying a salon in the Mid-West?
Anyway. I like the Soltron beds, never heard anything bad about them but they are a very small company. I tried calling the owner, Jeff, but never got any return calls.

Re: soltron beds
As wrecked notes, Soltron is not a small company. They are part of JK Ergoline - their "fun" and less expensive line to the Ergoline beds.
Quality is good. The company isn't going anywhere. I'm not sure how the distributor is involved in this that told you they were Sportareddo. They seem to be an idiot, but if you don't have a long term relationship with them, who cares. |

Re: soltron beds
Being part of a bigger whole does not make one big. And by small I mean I was told that there are only a couple employees - hence when you call you get the "CEO/President", Jeff. Just because Applebees is owned by the same company that owns Pizza Hut, in some states, does not mean Applebees is bigger.
