Burned Client

I have a client who tans in the same bed regularly and recently he informed me that he got severely burned on one side of his buttocks. He usually comes in after running, so the bed is very sweaty after he is done. I originally thought that maybe some sweat pooled under that area of his body and somehow magnified the tanning rays, but I read a post suggesting that tingle lotion residue on the bed can cause this type of reaction. I am wondering if it was some residual tingle lotion on the bed that could have caused his burn or was it something else? Any thoughts?

Re: Burned Client

It's very possible that it was left over tingle but you have to ask yourself "how clean do we clean the beds?" As a standard practice we spray, wipe down bed on one side of towel, then respray and turn the towel over and rewipe. That should do it. If that isn't it maybe he started some medication that had a weird affect.
