favourite lotion

Hey everyone!
my name is brittany and i love tanning and i am really looking forward to getting lots of advice!
what is your favourite lotion?! i use designer skin fortune right now...and i love bronzers...but i wasnt too thrilled with the product over all...what is the best bronzer?

Well it depends on what type of bronzer you want.

There are some that are great without bronzers, Cypher and PotenC are two I recently tried. Both from California Tan and both worked VERY well.

From Designer Skin, Black 20X is great. I like the smell and it goes on well. For a lower price point try 14kt Gold or Majesty.

Are you a salon owner? Best bet is to talk to the salon you tan at and get suggestions there. I am sure they have some wonderful indoor tanning lotions they could recommend.

i go to fabutan ...half the girls who work there are either in highschool or just out and i hear different things from different people....
like today i was told that designer skin focuses more on less streaking and smell ...etc. then on the actual bronzers itself.
no idea?? do u own a salon???

As much as I like bronzers, nothing beats a real accelerator. Bronzers are fake color on your skin, they wash and fade off until you get down to your real tan.

Yes!,maximizer or tingle,no bronzers!.I don't think there is any bronzer out there that doesn't look fake.Not even the top shelf stuff.

Thus why I recomended that she talk to her salon. We can recomend things all day, but if her current salon does not carry the brands we recomend, where do you think she will go? ;)

Lotion is about preference. What my staff (yes I do own a salon as do about 99% of the people on this salon owners forum) suggests may not be what I would suggest, thus why you get different info from different people. People sell what they like. It does not matter if the staff is in highschool, they should all be trained and knowledgable on lotion and tanning. If you dont like the customer service you are getting, I would suggest a different salon. :)
