Newbie! How is everyone's Jan 08 so far?

We have had more people but less money this year but only in tanning every other area is up. Tanning is the really important number though. We have just sold fewer year packages so far so i expect that number to come around. We are also making a push the last 2 weeks to really start pressing people about the year packages. Get it now it may go up up later.

2003 was our best year - reccession and leap year that year. I have high hopes this year to rebound from the prvious couple years - come on reccession.

January has been good so far! i think the election year will hurt everyone! people just cant decide anything anymore and the housing market screwed everyone up people just don't have the extra money they use to! but we can't give away tanning either because we are just going to hurt each other! communication with other local salons is a good key to follow always keep your eyes on the local competition and talk to salon owners around you it works for me. If you can increase business at least 10% every year of bis your doing good just hang in there!
