How to increase morning sales?

Try going to local Police Stations, Fire Stations, Hospitals and Nursing Homes.

Those people are often leaving work at those hours.

We had the same problem...not many tanners before noon so we did an early bird special between 8am and 10am discounted price. It helped a lot, some people that were coming in the evening changed when they came in. During the evening there's not such a long wait now for a bed.

The only thing with doing that is now the ones that were coming and paying full ticket price now get a lessened price. Then it's always, well Im only 30 minutes past the end time can't you tan me?

First off, this guy is DOING 40 PEOPLE BEFORE NOON. He doesn't need advice on how to increase traffic. He's looking for a way to get these people to buy.

I'd die to get that many people a day nevermind before lunch. You need to find SOMETHING they'll buy. Find a tanning lotion that has no smell.

^ exactly that's why I gave the advice about suggesting lotion smell and maybe offering coffee or a newspaper with lotion purchase

We do 1/2 price upgrades during the week, 8a-11am, to help get people in here-during the busy time-this seemed to bring more in!

engfant has pointed out the original question in the thread. I agree getting 40 people in before noon most people should be asking how did you get 40 people in before noon...this is not the problem. the question at hand is how does northshorerob increase sales lotions to those 40 clients. :)

and in regards to increasing sales in the morning.. have a promotion on your lotion.. simple... are these clients buying pkgs or sessions in the morning?? do they go to work right after and not want to carry the lotion with them? do you hold clients lotions at your salon?

i cant reall answer about you not being able to sell to clients because i do not know what responses they give you when you try?? do u just ask if they need lotion or do ask what lotion they are interested in today..

if its smell that a major issue get some non smelling products in.. and let them know .!
