Making a brochure

I'm trying to make a brochure on "reasons to use lotion". Can someone tell me how to create something like that in Word. I was thinking something like a tri-fold brochure. I know I've done it before but I can't remember how!

Re: Making a brochure

There is a free open source program you could try that might be easier. It used to be you had to download ghostscript first if you are using windows, not sure if they fixed that in the newer versions.

Re: Making a brochure

Thanks! I'll try it! I just want something to put in each of the tanning rooms to promote using lotions!

Re: Making a brochure

We have always used the 14 x 8 1/2 in each room with a picture of lotions. that seems to work pretty good. we have the brochures but i dont think we really promote the lotion. i will see thought and get back to you on that one.

Re: Making a brochure

Do you just have a big sheet posted in each room or what?

Re: Making a brochure

I use Quark and Pages. I used to do A LOT of design work, I have no problem helping someone out if they need it. I can send it to you in PDF format, which is universal.

Re: Making a brochure

from my experience nobody is going to read a tri-fold brochure. and if they did the last place you want them reading it is in the tanning room before or after a session. They take long enough in there. LOL

the best thing would be a laminated sign in each room.

actually NO the best thing is to offer a lotion discount with a tanning package. AND MENTION IT EVERYTIME that will increase sales and open up the opportunity to lotion discussion while they are in buying mode. i do 20% off with a package everytime.

ill PM u something
