How long has the floor been down? I'm assuming it must be holding up well or you would not do it again.

our floor has been down for a year this march. i think breezy's is around 3 years or so...

I went with a darker stain, and it was a water base. So easy! I went to a concrete stain company that happened to based out of my area. Put it on the same with a bug sprayer and it was done in 2 days. Not much in preparation and I didn't have to deal with the acid. They also sold metallic concrete paint that we did the sun logo with. My husband airbrushed the artwork on after we stained the floor. The next day we sealed it the same way with the bug sprayer. All together, 1200 sq ft was about $800. Not bad at all. We just polished the floors with the wax from the same manufacturer and the shine is still holding up well. We have yet to buff out the floors, we just wanted to open. I am going to do it this summer when I have time. The product is smith's color stain, they have a chart of all the colors, your teal color is available too.
