That is one way doing it but you wont achieve a look like his. That link is for staining the concrete with acid. What he did is more of a paint than a stain. I know cause i built a store and copied him and i am remodeling another store and i am about to do it again in a few weeks. its pretty much paint for the floor followed with a seal coat that is shiny. it is so nice. Oh, me too, definitely! Holy crap!! That is beautiful!!! How long did it take you to paint all that?! Just one question though - why did you opt for the doorless rooms for the Mega Beds? I'm not complaining; and believe me, I've argued for that type of setup more than once for my wife's place. In fact, I promised that I would work double shifts if I had to if she'd do away with the whole "privacy" thing. Anyway, beautiful job! hehe -Belvy

Thanks. All together it took me 8 hours to do it right for 3,000 sq. ft. I am kinda confused on what you mean by doorless rooms but i am guessing you are talking about the rooms that look like they are just open and cased open. those rooms have electronic roll up doors. They are right in front of the windows so the outside people can see everything. Right now we have three rooms like that. One has a mystic and one has a blue sunboard. The other room is storage right now till we can get another pretty bed. Its cool cause from the road as you pass by you can see the sunboard. it looks pretty cool

i dont exact;y remember what we used. i am thinkin genie. its nice casue the door doesnt roll up like a garage door in you garage would. those just slide up and out. it actually rolls up into a ball. its not loud at all and it makes the room seem so much bigger.

Are the doors power driven? If so do they switch to manual if there is a power outage? Have you had them long enough to see if they hold heat in the rooms? We used double louvre doors thinking the heat could escape. I can see where they are great space savers. :)
