Spray Tanning question??

I just bought a Summer Image spray tanning booth used. ( yes I know ) But, if a tan is not perfect, can a person get sprayed twice in a row???

Thanks for the input.

Re: Spray Tanning question??

Buying that machine was your first mistake. And if I were a paying customer, and it didn't turn out right the first time, I wouldn't be back.

Re: Spray Tanning question??

Your welcome :).

But to give you an answer to your dumb question, yes, your customer can get sprayed 5 times if they want to.

Re: Spray Tanning question??

I used to have a Cal-Tan Autobronzer and a few customers had stated they did not feel like they got that much. When that occured, I would recommend they see how it settles in the next day and then come in if they were still unhappy. Most were happy by the next day.

Re: Spray Tanning question??

It depends what is "not perfect" about the first spray.

We have a mystic, and in our first year a gal got caught in a light rain shortly after spraying. Her shoulders/upper arms got a bit blotchy as a result.

We tried spraying a 2nd time the next day -- basically she got darker EVERYWHERE - and the blotches got darker along with it! It didn't really "blend" (as we hoped) - it just all got darker.

If it is just a small area, might try using some self applied products like Cal Tan or Mystic. Perhaps the customer can fill in the bad areas with some cream or spray and blend that way?

Re: Spray Tanning question??

Poor maintenance and bad solution are the only real issues with the Summer Image. You should flush the unit every five gallon jug or every thirty days (which ever comes first) with hot water. It was set up to use Norvell spray solution.
