I think they were making a general political comment in regards to the direction of the thread. Regardless of politics, in this day and age, the involvement of foreign terrorists in this monumental tragedy cannot be overlooked - ruled out maybe, but not overlooked. Eileen raises a good point regarding history, and is probably more accurate - unless you subscribe to Global Warming rhetoric and propaganda - then it's all our fault. As for Fox News, and I truly hope I don't lose any friends over this, but I still believe they are not on any one side's bandwagon or the other in what they report or run. I could be wrong - it's happened before! hehe Whoever's responsible, if it was intentional, I hope they catch them. Churchill was correct. Honestly I think the thought that it may be a terrorist event scares liberals to death. That would mean there is actually islamo kooks out there and shift thinking more to the conservative side of things.

Fox gets it right most of the time. This story does seem like a scare tactic though. All news outlets do it. I just thought fox overdid this possibility.

No one here is saying it WASEN'T arson, but to say that Al Queda is responsible is just plain dumb!

Al Queda want's to kill Americans by the thousands (at least that's what we're told) not burn down trees and homes.
Is it arson? Absolutely, but not by Al Queda, but more likely by HOME OWNERS that jumped on the ban wagon to cash in on the insurance game and get a nice brandy new home out of the deal.

I don't think Al Queda terrorists started the fires. It's more likely that some Al Queda wanna bees who werre taught in American Mosques might have done it. It's even more likely, I think, that it was some non-Al Queda nut jobs.

But knowing that Al Queda members have California fires on their "to do" list, and then to refuse to question whether the arsonists were connected to Al Queda, is .... beyond description.
