Plastic fades and cracks after several years. Then throw in the fact that they stop making these parts so you have to buy new. The bigger beds are decent except for the Velocity. The small beds are short term beds. If you want a unit that still looks decent in 5 years then look elsewhere.

It depends on the level of beds you are buying. I have yet to see ONE company that I can buy all my levels of tanning beds from. Every company has their weak spots. Buy the strongest beds that are decent looking for each segment.

TA over ETS any day.

My choice is 100% Tan America. We have over 100 TA units and i love them. Roomy, Well Air Ventilated, More attractive. I just would rather have TA over ETS. We bought a salon with ets beds and i just do not like them. They are not very attrative, except the sundome, not very roomy, timers are built in. I would rather have ta with timers on the wall. Thats my opinion.

I have 6 ETS beds (3 Sunstar 332/3s, 1 Starpower, 1 Solarforce, 1 Solarforce standup). We have been extremely happy with their performance and I get comments on how nice the beds are in comparison to other salons. The price is nice as well! I am opening my second salon this coming summer and plan to use ETS again as well as Ergoline (possibly).
