I agree and so do the majority of the customers out there.Customers are not as stupid as everyone thinks.I have a number of customers from other salons, they will be the first to admit that the new beds (ETS and Ergo) look very nice, but do not tan them well.

Re: Tan America or ETS

my ETS 432's encaps keep peeling too! I just keep replacing them(under warranty still), but I did find some paint that came with the units! My disty told me that my rooms weren't big enough, but we built them accordingly! Performance is outstanding though! My Starpower 548 is a b**tch to put back together after cleaning!!! Nice unit though...

Re: Tan America or ETS

Some of you that tear at ETS are so obivous sometimes. You compare Ergoline?? what a joke.. I have ETS 2007 models, Velocity HP 1000, Sunscape 755 laydown and Veritcal, Solarforce, Sunstar and rejuvasun and we are killing our compititon that has Ergoline, they dont even compare. We have many customers daily that come to us from other salons. Our customers rave about our beds and are signing 12 month contracts with no problem. I don't know about Tan America since nobody here has them, but we do great with ETS.

Re: Tan America or ETS

The Velocity has to be one of the worst HP beds out there.

Re: Tan America or ETS

I can tell you this about ETS.Its more than likely that they are using foreign suppliers to manufacture there components. They may be assembled here in the states, but more than likely China or the equivalent is producing the components.

I was in the industrial manufacturing segment for years and we too out sourced many parts. We had a **** of a time getting them to understand our paint/powedercoat specs. We kept telling them poweder coat, they kept sending us painted parts..Why,because it was cheaper for them to make it that way,Or they did not have access to what we needed.Did they tell us that,Noo.They just kept sending us the wrong stuff and after they discounted the parts tremendously,we decided to "slip them in"like most companies do.obviously we had a lot of ****** off customers.

Always inquire where manufacturers, manufacture their equipment..

I would take a Orbit or Sunstorm any day over a Starpower. Those beds are junk.

Re: Tan America or ETS

Very Minor issues with ETS. Fans on 332/432 vibrate and make an annoying noise until you shim them, doors on the Solar Force 652V and SS 756V don't line up no matter what you do. Nothing major... Clients love all of them. The SS 756V is the ultimate ride for everyone. Mine are still under a year old, but very pleased so far. I hear over and over how nice my beds are compared to the competition up the street with a mix of Ergoline/Sundash. Customer service has been good and the ETS crew will make sure you're happy after the sale through on site visits and providing all the beverages you can drink whenever you're at an event involving them!

Re: Tan America or ETS

I have 6 beds and all are ETS beds. They are 3 years old and I have never had any problems with them, they all have over 3K hours on them and are working great!

The two 332 do have some paint that has peeled off on the top end caps that looks pretty nasty but I figured that could happen on any bed. Does anyone know what kind of paint I would use to fix them?

Re: Tan America or ETS

If you haven't decided yet, go TA. If you've decided already, then good luck. ~Point of order - not all plastics are created equal, folks - TA makes the best units, bar none - and they back them "after the sale", for years! For those of you that bought metal units, all I can say is Nelson has a special message for you, and you should be thanking your lucky stars that you didn't have to install them. If you ever have to move them personally, well, I'm not one to rub salt in open wound, unless it's mine ... hehe -Belvy

Re: Tan America or ETS

ETS is cheaply made equipment, for base beds Tan America will do fine, upper levels KBL and Mueller, vertical Suncapsule, these comp.'s may cost more but will outperform ETS all day long.

This is where Sportarredo stands above most other manufacturers. Sportarredo is one of the first companies in the tanning industry to obtain the UNI EN ISO 9001 quality system certification. This is a further guarantee of the high organizational and managerial standards, to provide to its customers worldwide the best products, improve their performance and reduce waste and pollution.
