ICING ON THE CAKE - Rick Berman and Co meeting!!!! Folks, in 10 minutes I saw a room full of 250-300 salon owners pony up over $200,000 to get these guys to lobby and PR on the indoor tanning's behalf. Get ready to donate because they are going to shake up the demotologists' negative anti-tanning message and take our fight to the public. What I learned is this industry has had enough with being on the defense and getting cut to shreds 1 inch at a time. We are taking the fight to the court of public opinion and with Bermans help we will steer this ship on course once more. It was nice to see salon owners stop worrying about each other and start working towards the better good of their industry.

This is the giant circle. Because we have had nobody fighting with us, we are drained of money. I want to see the campaign first. Then I will donate.

I missed that meeting due to other commitment in Nashville. I will most definitely be donating. I watched the 60 minutes pc on this guy (Berman) and he is really good. The ITA and Smart Tan and AG/Cal Tan/Designer Skin are to be commended for the direction they are taking... now we all need to back them as they back us...working together we can really make a change! Very exciting future for our industry.

I have to say, I am starting to get excited about this possible turn for the possitive now... if this guy Berman is as great as everyone says he is, then it is in his best interest for this to go well... right? And I have to say, I am looking in AG right now too... I may as well support what can add more to my dinner table right?
