Aqua Massage Bed (Advice Wanted)????

When we bought our salon 5-years ago... I wanted to add one of the AMI units, but at the time they were $20k. I always thought they were a cool concept, but better served in the privacy of a room as opposed to the open viewing of the mall or other Kiosk.

Now that I have expanded my salon I am back on the kick of getting on of these beds to try and expand my clientele. I want the capsule unit... not the waterbed looking one.

My questions to the forum are: Who has them? (and) Are they successful in a tanning salon?

I have a few concept ideas to market one and hopefully not have to eat a monthly payment... but before I jump in, I would like to hear feedback from those of you who have them running in a tanning salon.

I looked into one of these also. I went to try one of the Spa Capsules out at a salon around here and it was broken. I went back quite a few times and it was still broken. After over a month of trying I gave up. I figured if they were in no hurry to fix it, it must not be that great of a money maker.

Hi, I actually have one I'm trying to move right now (located in CT). They are great machines for the right audience. My customers were crying when I closed down my store. There's no place in the area that has them any more. If someone doesn't like a real massage or doesn't have time or works out a lot, these can be great destressing machines.
