I'm pretty sure one of my competitors won't be around much longer. They've been trying to match some of the deals I've been giving my customers...even though their beds are ancient and not maintainted well. I don't know how much of a deal that is when customers can come to my place and use new beds with new lamps for the same price. And they keep closing whenever they aren't busy. Just because you don't have any customers booked...how do you know you won't have someone walk in and buy something? Everything I've heard about the place isn't good too. I've had several of my customers comment that the owner walks around with her nose in the air all the time and she's rude to them. She hardly has any product on her shelf at all. I really wonder how much longer she'll be around.

my competition closes when no one goes there, they are ALWAYS closed. My other comp. seems pretty solid, but it dosent bother me, she runs a nice clean shop, has crappy beds imo but thats just my opinion.

I think a lot will be forced to sell....the one comp thats always closed is for sale....has been for a while....

whatever happened to the days where salons are asking 100k to buy? i mean dont any salons make money ...hmm but i guess they arent the ones for sale!!!

i'm going for my real estate license. will probably be ready to sell in 2 years. can't really decide what to do though. i know i would really miss this. won't miss the headaches tho. i've considered hiring a manager but i really don't think it would be worth it to me if i'm not here to run it. any ideas?

Real estate license??!!! Are you insane? The only industry TANKING HARDER THAN TANNING is real estate....actually the US GOVERNMENT is probably tanking the hardest but that's not true cause I'm a stupid liberal.
