Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

Pure sabre rattling on their part if you ask me. As much as they could care less about the American economy, I'm sure they care about theirs - and I really don't think they would pull something like that with the olympics coming up. Tanking the dollar like that would have a serious impact on the world economy, not to mention **** off a whole lot of people around the world.

VOTE RON PAUL!!!!
Ron Paul is a congressman just outside of my area. In this area he is known as someone
a few french fries short of a happy meal. I can see why you are
attracted to him.

Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

Only a few fries short? hehe I'd say that'd probably be an improvement! I'm ashamed to say it, but I think half the Happy Meals we have running the country today are just the friggen TOY! You know, that crappy little piece of junk that never works they way they say it will, then breaks and gets stuck in the crack of the couch and is just a pain in your *** until you get a new couch in four years!

Ah huh. And the following stats are from your current GOOD president who is only interested in peace. Yeah, PIECE maybe.

***Total deaths (all excess deaths) Johns Hopkins - As of June 2006: 654,965 (range of 392,979–942,636). 601,027 were violent deaths (31% attributed to Coalition, 24% to others, 46% unknown)[25][26]
War-related & criminal violence deaths (all Iraqis) Iraq Health Minister. Through early November 2006: 100,000-150,000[27][28]
War-related & criminal violence deaths (civilians) Iraq Body Count - English language media only: 62,841-68,868[29]

650,000 people dead. And that's the middle of the estimate.

There was a deck of cards with the most wanted put out many years ago. That's 52 cards = 52 guys they were looking for.

So far 650,000 and $600BILLION have been lost and they still haven't gotten Osama.

That's pretty good.

You know how much the KBR (another company Cheney "DOESN'T" own that is using our military as personal bodyguards) charges the soldiers for a PAPER PLATE.

$52.

For one paper plate.

Did you know that the hummers on the streets of America have more armor than some of the hummers in Iraq?

Something to be proud of.

Engfant, it doesn't help your argument when you make up stuff or quote the Wiki, which is all opinion and made up stuff.

Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

Nah. Unlike your blind eye I watch EVERYTHING on Iraq.

It's over. The Republicans are no longer supporting the war, they are supporting their president's decisions.

That's not even close to the same thing.

It's done. It's over. This is a DISASTER.

WORST PRESIDENT EVER. WORST CORRUPTION EVER.

Yes, from WIKIPEDIA which is NOT disputed.

This is what George Bush Sr and **** Cheney gave for a reason for NOT occupying Iraq in the gulf war. The EXACT SITUATION WE ARE IN NOW.

That's why Old Man Bush hangs out with BILL CLINTON instead of being by his son's side.

What a disgrace.

In a foreign policy move that would later be questioned, President Bush achieved his stated objectives of liberating Kuwait and forcing Iraqi withdrawal, then ordered a cessation of combat operations —allowing Saddam Hussein to stay in power. His Secretary of Defense **** Cheney noted that invading the country would get the United States "bogged down in the quagmire inside Iraq." Bush later explained that he did not give the order to overthrow the Iraqi government because it would have "incurred incalculable human and political costs... We would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq".[17][18]
In explaining to Gulf War veterans why he chose not to pursue the war further, President Bush said, "Whose life would be on my hands as the commander-in-chief because I, unilaterally, went beyond the international law, went beyond the stated mission, and said we're going to show our macho? We're going into Baghdad. We're going to be an occupying power — America in an Arab land — with no allies at our side. It would have been disastrous."[19]

Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

What would it do again Mr Bush?

"We're going into Baghdad. We're going to be an occupying power — America in an Arab land — with no allies at our side. It would have been disastrous."

To say I TOLD YOU SO is an UNDERSTATEMENT.

To say that these above numbers are NOT A DISASTER would be ignorant and HIGHLY ANTI AMERICAN.

These above numbers ARE NOT DISPUTED. THEY ARE NOT EXAGGERATED. THEY ARE FOR REAL.

Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

Take all day and read the history of your Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...action=history

Wikipedia is crap. I could go in to it and change the page to whatever I wanted, anonymously, and it would stay that way until the next person came along and edited in their crap.

Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

Man, it's not being edited because it's not disputed. As soon as something is disputed it gets flagged and locked.

See, the problem is you just ASSUME everything and don't bother to actually pay attention to what's going on.

It's only fake cause you say so. But that's only in your mind. It's still reality.

Re: Where is the Economy Headed?

Engfant, that page was edited 90 times just in the first 8 days of August!

It's been edited 500 times since June 6, 2007

It would be like saying talktalk is the be all and end all for the best information available on the indoor tanning industry. Right.

Wiki is crap... actually crap du jour.

Reality is perspective.

Maybe you'll appreciate what Wiki says about tanning: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_tanning
