How many different brands
Hello.. Normally I don't post just read threads to get different opinions. But i am totally confused, I will be opening my first salon within th next 2-3 months and I had decided on getting all ergoline beds: 3 ambition250, 2 ambition300, 2 radius stand-up, 1 open sun 550, 1 affinity 800, and 1 open sun 1050. Ithen decided to switch my HP to the Magic. I also considered getting the s-class instead of the affinity 800 and maybe the suncapsul or KBL tower for stand ups. Here is my question IS IT MORE DIFFICULT TO HAVE MANY DIFFERENT BRANDS? I wanted to get all the same brand b/c I thought set-up, delivery, repairs etc. would be so much eaiser ( and less expensive). What do I do ? Help!!

Re: How many different brands
We have three different brands of equipment and it does not make it any harder for repair or maintenance of course I do it all myself.
If you need to depend on a repair tech that is a whole different issue. Most techs can work on most brands anyway. Depends on your area and the mix you are trying to achieve.

Re: How many different brands
I would also go with one brand because I think it looks better LOL
When you buy second hand from the manufacturer you can get great beds that fit well together ~and great that you started posting!! Welcome~ |

Re: How many different brands
Let me rephrase!
We started out with all of the same brand and added other brands as the need arose. Depending on the mix you are trying to achieve you may not be able to get them from the same company. Looks are not all you are trying to accomplish and it's not like you have all the beds in one big community room.

Re: How many different brands
thanks, I have looked at all those beds, but I HAVEN'T BEEN able to try them all. Thats why I look on here to find out whats good. I agree that it looks better, and even with all Ergo I will still have the absolute best where I am. But I know that UWE, Mueller and others are better but it is so hard to get the right mix when the only people to help you are the ones selling you the bed.
