Buying new beds
We are getting ready to update our equipment. We are currently looking at the Ergoline Ambition 250 or the Heartland Ovation 3400. These would be our base beds.
Any suggestions between the two? Negative, positive feedback on either? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: Buying new beds
Oh my God OVATION. They have a "limited edition" black model that's them coolest. They can be run till they catch fire and then, run again.
I would do 15min in them. 20min is so 1990s

Re: Buying new beds
I am also in the process of purchasing new equipment. I am also considering the Ovation vs. Ergoline. Can anyone give me any information that might favor one over the other.

Re: Buying new beds
Either would make a very nice base bed. Both hold up well over time, and tan nicely. Both companies are solid manufacturers.
Go with the rep you feel you have the best "relationship" with, that will help support your business. Factor in service proximity, price, which one you just "like" better, what your competition has and pick the one that seems to wind up having the "edge". |

Re: Buying new beds
good answer. GET WHAT THE COMPETITION DOESN'T HAVE.

Re: Buying new beds
yeah what part of the country are u from it really depends who is the distributor in you area is make sure they have a good name because u can get nailed by some of them in this industry. I myself favor Ergoline over heartland though both beds are great and I would also say go with a 15 minute versoin on either bed u get another turn per hour which means more money in your pocket and to pay that hefty loan u took out on the beds. Got any questions u can message me on here I would be glad to answer any questions u may have

Re: Buying new beds
We almost bought a salon with Heartland Beds and yes these are comparable in quality to Ergoline in my opinion. both manufactures have top rated equipment and the looks to woo customers. I would go with the vendor that has the best local service. We have Sundash products because of the local distributor stocks replacement parts. Last year a lightening strike knocked out three boards and one rail timer on our Sundash Beds. Tan Me sent a service tech to the shop at 8:00PM in the evening to give me the parts. My sales person had the order ready and sent us the bill. You got to love this kind of service, PatParadise

Re: Buying new beds
i dont recommend ergoline and i have the same exact equipment yr looking to purchase. customer service is terrible. JK Capital is a joke and by far the worst company i have ever dealt with, and yr electric bill is going to skyyyy rocket. don't do it save yrself some aggravation.
..if yr still sold on the looks of the equipment (like i was) a BIG thing i would inquire about is a "non-compete clause". a salon is opening up in the next month or so and they have the same equipment as me and they are less than 3 miles away. DOCUMENT & RECORD ALL LITERATURE!! |

Re: Buying new beds
