I never thought of the appreciation part. Now that makes my (otherwise boring) day! And yeah, I guess airbrushing is more like waitressing and they know to tip. I just thought it was very nice in a salon setting to get a tip every time she comes in.

Did anyone know that you should tip your paperboy at Christmas? I had this conversation a few years back and was clueless.

What paperboy? Do they have those anymore? We have an old guy that tosses papers out his car window. I haven't seen a "paperboy" in years. I do tip the mailman at Christmas, however. And the girl that does my hair, and waitresses, and the guy that wash the car and the guys that put our new siding and roof on and, and, and...............................

I have a paper boy and I tip him at Christmas. Once a year $50 because the price of the paper is deducted from my bank account each month so he doesn't get any tip during the year.
