Were you able to compare them to other electronic ballasts to show they use the least amount of electricity? Or do you mean just electronic ballast in "general" use the least amount? :)

Re: KBL or Ultrasun

all hype. All unnecessary seeing that these beds aren't in need of a power savings. Their HP beds that need 100amps 3phase are what need some savings in power consumption.

They were the only company with such powerful beds that run on such amps...we bought the Pacifica's, which are 36 lamp (160's top and 100's bottom) with triple facials and they only require a 30 amp breaker and no buck-booster!!

Sorry engfant but I don't agree...any savings helps!!! You must be rolling in the money to not want to save energy or have better lamp life!

Better than what? Than using magnetic junk ballasts that they use now? How the beds are limited to a select few underperforming lamps?

My "base"beds only draw 15amps and have 32lamps. You are trying to say 15amp draw with 1000+ useful hours on REAL PERFORMING LAMPS is too much to ask?

I get $50 a month. Not enough for ya?

MAYBE compared to Tan America's current JOKE of a line up, then yes. They need all the help they can get.

Yeah? Sunsource has a bed that's 32lamp 160/100watt that only pulls 22amps and it can use ANY lamp and will get 1000hrs out of them.

No skimping on performance over here. Tan America needs to stick to using components that help you achieve a deep TAN not skimp on electricity which it clearly isn't saving at all.

No buck booster? What benefit is that? $50 savings? That's trash.

Re: KBL or Ultrasun

We have Sundash and ETS Beds. These are the two largest manufacturers on the planet. Our state of Minnesota has a distributor for both beds and we can get parts and or technical help quickly. Last summer a storm knocked out two boards and a rail timer. My sales personan Chris Perry from Tan Me wrote up the parts and the store manager met me at 7:30 PM to give me the parts. The manager said my wife could give them our credit card numbers the next morning. I do not think you can expect much better service, PatParadise.
