Wink Question about tanning bed to be used in home.

Hi! My name is Jennifer. I am new to the forum. I am about to purchase a fairly used tanning bed....it is a commercial bed, but I want to use it in my home. I was wondering if any one knew if it is ok to use it in a home. Also if I need a special outlet or plug for it....and how to hook it up properly. Oh and one more question: Will is make my electric bill outrageous?

This is the name of the bed:
Wolff Sunvision ZX30 TANNING BED w/3 facial tanner+fan

Hope to hear from someone soon!
Thank so much!

Jenn

Re: Question about tanning bed to be used in home.

what if I were to purchase a tanning bed that was made for the home? Would my electric bill be the same or would it still be outrageous?

Re: Question about tanning bed to be used in home.

Obviously you bill will go up according to usage. Units made for the home are, well not so hot.

The unit you first mentioned will need 220 volt service that may have to be run from your electrical panel, a higher amp breaker of course.

Seems to me home tanning units end up being like those pcs. of gym equipment everyone has collecting dust somewhere in the house. Novel for a awhile.

Does HOT mean you tan better? Not so much! Do some research but first, check out your local salon, it will save you alot of money! And I'm sure the equipment will be MUCH better!
