Face tanners in base beds?

I want face tanners in my base beds, but I have been advised against it. What's the official opinion here? I want them to have a leg up in the comp. No one has them here, we all just have the same base beds. The ones want are 20 min beds.

I think base beds with facials can be considered level 2 depending on your mix. Why were you advised against it?

the guy said I needed to keep my base beds very base. Makes the upgraded bed more of an upgrade. I only have 4 beds so the mix of what I have is obsolete.

I only have 5 beds, but all my beds have facial tanners. The base has 1 400 watt facial tanner.

I never advise facials in base beds:

1. Not everyone wants facials

2. They cost more

3. That then takes away one of the 'incentives' to upgrade.

Salons that try to "be more" than their competitors on base beds often just wind up buying more expensive equipment that costs more to re-lamp, but they have to charge the same. Level 1 is your "competitive" level - it is where people price shop. If you are more than your competitors there, you never get to the point where you get to "prove" why you are worth it - they just think you are the more expensive salon.

15 min, no facial for Level 1.
