wiring help

My husband just bought me a wolff system wss 24b bed, and I saw it working, but when we got it home and he wired it up, it will not come on. He has traced it to a short on one phase, in the junction box, on the heavy red wire. Need to know where the red wire goes. Thanks for any help. I really need a tan.

the what now? did this unit come with a plug in? Was it previously on a remote timer?

What junction box. I believe this unit requires a neutral as well. Going to check. Brian O may know, its been awhile since I've worked on this bed. I think you should have 2 hot ground and a neutral. If he doesn't know what he's doing, be careful. How many wires are coming out of the bed? And what color?
